Clearmash Solutions Ltd.
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who browse with a screen reader, with a keyboard and no mouse, with a screen magnifier, with speech input, or with motion and contrast preferences turned up. This statement sets out the standard this website was built and tested to, what that testing covers, what it does not cover, and how to tell us when something gets in your way.
What This Statement Covers
This statement applies to the ClearMash website at www.clearmash.com and every page published under it.
It does not cover services that are reached from this website but run elsewhere, such as the ClearMash Customer Support Brain and the ClearMash Developer Support Brain, or documents we send to you on request. Tell us about a barrier in one of those anyway, and we will take it to the team that owns it.
The Standard This Website Was Built To
This website was designed, built and tested to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
We state the standard rather than the law of any one country on purpose. WCAG is the international standard that accessibility legislation and public-sector procurement rules around the world refer to, and it is the thing a page can be measured against. If a regulation that applies to you names a different standard, version or level, write to us and we will tell you plainly where this website stands against it.
How It Is Tested
Every page of this website is tested, at desktop, laptop and phone widths, and the tests are automated so that they run again whenever the site changes. What they cover:
- An audit of every page against the WCAG 2.2 Level A and Level AA rules that can be checked mechanically.
- A keyboard walk that presses Tab through each page and confirms that every stop shows a visible focus indicator, that focus never lands on a hidden element, and that the order follows the page.
- Color contrast measured on the rendered page, including text over gradients and translucent layers.
- Target sizes, so that a control is either large enough or far enough from its neighbors to be hit reliably.
- Reflow at 200% and 400% zoom, and the text spacing overrides WCAG 1.4.12 requires, with no horizontal scrolling and no clipped words at any of five widths.
- The reduced-motion and increased-contrast preferences set in the operating system or the browser, which this site follows.
- The navigation and the forms, including the mobile menu's focus handling, the Escape key, and the error messages a form returns.
The website is regularly tested to ensure ongoing accessibility maintenance.
What We Know About
Two elements on this site are excluded under the exception WCAG makes for pure decoration: a faint typographic watermark behind the opening of some pages, and a single frame of the fade between customer quotes. Both are hidden from assistive technology, and the words in both are also on the page as ordinary text.
The contact and support forms carry a verification control supplied by a third party. Its interface is not ours to change. If it prevents you from sending a form, use the email address below instead and we will take the request that way.
Keyboard and Assistive Technology
The website supports the use of assistive technologies such as screen reader software and keyboard navigation. Users can navigate using the Tab and Shift+Tab keys to move between links, arrow keys for navigation, Enter to select, Esc to close menus and popups, and H or numbers to jump between headings.
Optimal Browser and Assistive Technology Compatibility
This website is best viewed and used with common, current browsers in combination with suitable screen reader software.

It helps if you can tell us which page you were on, what you were trying to do, what got in the way, and which browser and assistive technology you were using. We treat a report about this website as a defect in the website.
