The Brain connects agents, screens and data

Knowledge does its work inside other software: the AI agents a team builds, the screens employees use all day, the documents where a rule is first written. ClearMash Brain connects to all of it.

A service agent spends the day in a CRM and a case screen. An AI agent lives on whichever platform its team chose to build it on. And the rule they apply was first written somewhere else again, in a document or the notes of the meeting that settled it.

The knowledge has to reach the work, and the work has to feed the knowledge, wherever each of them happens. So ClearMash Brain connects outward to the agent builders an organization uses, onto the screens its employees already work in, and inward from the unstructured data where knowledge begins.

Agent builders connect to the Brain through MCP

Teams across an organization build AI agents on the agent builders that suit their work, and every one of those agents needs what the organization knows. Connected to the Brain, they draw on one source.

MCP, the Model Context Protocol, is an open standard that agent builders use to connect an AI agent to the tools and knowledge it works with. The Brain speaks it. An agent built on a builder that supports MCP can draw on the Brain directly: search it, ask it for an answer, find the knowledge related to an item, and fetch an item in full. Each agent reaches what its permissions allow, the way an employee does.

The effect is many agents and one Brain. Whatever builder a team chooses, its agent works from the same knowledge as every other agent and every employee. Each new agent adds a connection, and the knowledge it needs is already in place.

For the team building the agent, the work changes shape. The knowledge is owned, approved and current before the agent arrives, and the team spends its effort on what the agent is for: the task it performs, the systems it acts in, and the point at which it hands a case to a service agent.

On-screen connectivity shows the next best knowledge

Employees work inside business systems all day. Every time the knowledge they need sits somewhere else, they leave the screen to look for it, at exactly the moment the case needs their attention.

ClearMash Brain’s on-screen connectivity, a JavaScript widget, closes that distance. It reads the screens of any system an employee works in and shows the next best knowledge for what is on them, inside that system, where the work is already happening. A service agent opens the record of a customer whose delivery is late, and the knowledge for handling a late delivery appears on the same screen. The employee stays with the case. The knowledge comes to it.

That changes what knowledge is for. In a portal, it waits to be searched. On the screen, it arrives with the work, in the moment the decision is made, and the employee spends that moment on the customer instead of on the search.

The knowledge lives in one place. The work can happen anywhere.

Data ingestion connectivity turns data into knowledge

Most of what an organization knows starts life unstructured: the procedure an experienced employee wrote for the team, the slide deck that announced a product change, the ticket that settled an unusual case.

ClearMash Brain’s data ingestion connectivity, an API, takes that unstructured data and turns it into enterprise knowledge: it creates new knowledge from the material, or elevates the knowledge the Brain holds. What sat in a deck or a ticket becomes something the whole organization can use.

Elevating matters as much as creating. The Brain often holds the procedure already, and the new material makes that procedure better instead of setting another version beside it. A ticket that settled an unusual case can strengthen the procedure that case belongs to, so the next service agent finds it where they already look. Each time, the organization ends up with one stronger item rather than versions that drift apart.

A new tool is a new connection

In every case, the knowledge has one home, and every place the work is done can reach it. When an agent builder is replaced, a system retires or a channel opens, the change becomes a new connection to the same ClearMash Brain, and the knowledge stays the organization’s own.

A Brain proves itself in the places it reaches.

Knowledge quality lives between the documents

Every item in a knowledge base can be accurate on its own while the collection disagrees with itself. The Brain checks the collection for contradictions, duplicates and outdated items, and brings each finding to the item’s owner.

In self-service, the Brain is the help center

In self-service, a customer acts on what they read. So the help center has to be the Brain itself: personalized to their own case, grounded in approved knowledge, and in step with every letter and notice they get.
